Finest Fruit Cake
A rich, dark English Fruit Cake made to our own recipe and baking methods with a very high fruit content.
The ingredients, mixing and slow bake method produce a moist cake with a buttery flavour.
Our Finest Fruit Cake is available in a wide range of shapes and sizes ranging from individual slices to an enormous 15kg slab. Most widely sold are our 400g and 1.4kg(6") pieces. Both are available to buy on line.
2 Lakeland Plum Bread
Local Speciality. This is a lightly spiced fruit bread which is delicious with butter or jam, for sandwiches and fantastic as hot buttered toast. "Plum" in the name coming from the traditional description for dried fruit. It does not in fact contain plums but currants, raisins and sultanas.
Other bakers have their version of a Plum Bread but we guarantee that you will not find one as good as this, a really special product! Baked fresh every day.
