Bryson's craft bakery started hand baking bread from locally milled flour 60 years ago. This was on the same site as the Keswick bakery and shop now stand. A family owned business then as today, we are still baking to the highest standards. Over the years Bryson's has grown from its modest beginnings and now enjoys an enviable reputation as one of the finest small bakeries in the country without loosing any of its cherished values.

Unusual in these times Bryson's believe that fresh hand made products baked with care and skill from the finest ingredients is the only way to achieve real quality and taste for the discerning customer. Starting from scratch every day the skilled bakers and confectioners in Keswick prepare goods for its own shops and wholesale customers where fresh breads, cakes, pies and biscuits are highly appreciated by thousands of people every day.

Of particular importance is that we produce a very wide range of goods including Breads, Morning Goods, Fresh Creams, Pies, Pasties, Cakes, Biscuits, Sandwiches, Ice Cream etc.

Local specialities unique to this business include Lakeland Plum Bread, Borrowdale Tea Bread and Cumbrian Fruit Cake all made to old and secret recipes. Bryson's also make a rich English fruit cake called Finest Fruit which is sent all over the country and even to other parts of the world, a particular hit at Christmas but popular all year.
